Production Technician I - 3rd Shift (Medical Device Manufacturing)

Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: $38,400–$57,600 base annually

What you will do

• Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic manufacturing and processing equipment.
• Monitor production controls, meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, pressures, and flow ratios to maintain process specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment startups, changeovers, fault clearing, minor adjustments, and repairs.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, load tubing and raw materials, supply part bins, and maintain production documentation.
• Train new employees and provide systems monitoring and troubleshooting support.
• Participate in process improvement, TPM, Lean, and equipment improvement initiatives while following cGMP, SOP, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Technical experience in an automated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and shop math.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, wrenches, a multimeter, wire stripper, and crimping tool.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, multitasking, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when overtime is required and perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, and crawling.
