AI Enablement Lead

Location: Remote

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own company-wide AI adoption across awareness, training, activation, and measurable business value.
• Run the AI Center of Excellence, including the champions network, office hours, intake, prioritization, and adoption scoreboard.
• Recruit, coach, and support at least one AI champion in every department.
• Run cross-functional AI pods that pair engineering and subject-matter expertise to deliver measured ten-day sprint outcomes.
• Build and distribute a shared AI skills library and reusable automations with Engineering.
• Track converted workflows, returned hours, and dollar impact; manage tooling spend and report outcomes to executive staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, operations, or enablement, including 2+ years leading organization-wide adoption of a platform or practice.
• At least 1 year within the last 2 years directly building, leading, or influencing AI at company level.
• Hands-on ability to script, call APIs, wire automations, and ship AI workflows used by others.
• Experience training and facilitating for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, empathy, resourcefulness, and evidence of measurable before-and-after outcomes.

Nice to have

• Forward-deployed engineering experience at an AI lab, consultancy, or product company.
• Procurement, supply chain, or B2B SaaS experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 42001, the NIST AI RMF, or SOC 2.
• Experience establishing a center of excellence or champions program.
