Lead Sourcer (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA; four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 base annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Partner with recruiters and engineering leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategies for technical and leadership roles.
• Build diverse talent pipelines through proactive outreach, talent mapping, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
• Advise stakeholders with market insights, candidate-profile calibration, and pipeline data.
• Deliver a thoughtful candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Track pipeline health, sourcing performance, and conversion data.
• Improve recruiting workflows and experiment with emerging tools, including AI-enabled recruiting technology.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical sourcing experience.
• Experience recruiting for engineering or other technical roles.
• Strong understanding of technical roles, terminology, and engineering stacks.
• Experience engaging niche technical talent from individual contributors through senior leadership.
• Experience partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to shape sourcing strategies.
• Strong communication and candidate management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience experimenting with AI recruiting tools and other emerging recruiting technologies.
