Fleet Manager - Waukegan, IL

Location: Waukegan, Illinois, United States; operations cover an assigned U.S. region

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead regional home patient delivery operations across multiple locations, teams, and logistics partners.
• Own service reliability, safety, quality, cost, productivity, and other regional performance outcomes.
• Develop and execute operating plans covering capacity, labor, routing, and peak readiness.
• Manage third-party logistics and transportation partners, including SLAs, issue resolution, and performance reviews.
• Sponsor continuous improvement initiatives and provide escalation governance for complex delivery and customer issues.
• Coach and develop site leaders and teams while partnering with Customer Care, Distribution, Planning, Transportation, Tech Support, Finance, and Sales.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or customer-facing delivery operations.
• Experience overseeing multiple locations and leading teams or leaders.
• Strong analytical skills with experience managing KPIs, cost drivers, and operational trends.
• Proven project leadership and execution skills, including sustaining improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, and TMS environments; a bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience is accepted.
