TL;DR
IT Automation Specialist (DevOps): Designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure automation for cloud and on-premises environments with an accent on Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, AWX/Tower, and CI/CD integration. Focus on building self-service infrastructure capabilities, implementing agentic AI automation, and resolving complex production issues across heterogeneous systems.

What you will do
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform and OpenTofu for cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, application deployment, and system patching.
- Architect and optimize enterprise Ansible Tower/AWX environments, including RBAC, credentials, and workflow orchestration.
- Lead the adoption of agentic AI capabilities for IT operations automation and reduced manual effort.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and ticketing platforms.
- Establish automation stards, review infrastructure code, troubleshoot production issues, and document architectures and runbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experience.
- Expert Terraform and/or OpenTofu skills, including management of complex infrastructure states.
- Advanced Ansible expertise with production experience designing and maintaining Tower or AWX.
- Strong Python skills for custom modules, plugins, and automation scripts.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Azure or GCP, and hybrid or on-premises infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience, plus strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing agentic AI solutions for IT operations.
- Advanced Ansible Tower features, including workflows, dynamic inventory, and LDAP/SAML integration.
- CMDB and ServiceNow integration experience.
- GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux, infrastructure certifications, or open-source contributions.
