Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote, United Kingdom. Candidates must hold current UK security clearance and demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.

What you will do

• Own cloud infrastructure from provisioning through day-to-day operations, collaborating with the Solutions Architect on significant changes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for complex, evolving environments.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance, uptime, and resource usage, responding to and resolving operational issues.
• Investigate improved technical approaches, run spikes, and present recommendations for changes.
• Work with wider teams to understand needs and deliver DevOps solutions.

Requirements

• Current UK security clearance or eligibility to obtain the required enhanced clearance is mandatory.
• Significant production experience running cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Advanced Terraform experience, including reusable modules and multiple environments.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
• Ability to automate with Python or Bash.
• Experience creating secure CI/CD pipelines and assessing deployment risks.

• Azure experience.
• Terragrunt experience.
• CircleCI experience.
