DevOps Engineer – Business Technology (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid working model with work from home and on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices. Travel is required for client-facing work as needed. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain work authorization for Poland.

What you will do

• Design, build, and provision cloud infrastructure from scratch using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized deployments to cloud environments and Kubernetes.
• Set up source-control repositories, define branching and release-management strategies, and lead platform migrations such as GitHub to GitLab.
• Automate deployment and reduce manual effort across the engineering lifecycle using Python and scripting.
• Embed security and compliance into infrastructure and deployment environments.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Full-Stack Developers, and lead architects while setting technical standards for platforms in Poland.

Requirements

• Hands-on DevOps experience building and setting up infrastructure from scratch, including designing, developing, and building DevOps tooling and environments or related experience.
• Strong Python skills for automation, scripting, and tooling.
• Deep Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, such as Terraform, for automating and provisioning cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including cloud design and architecture decisions.
• Strong expertise with Git, GitHub, and GitLab, including repositories, branching strategies, release management, and platform migrations.
• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for containerized cloud and Kubernetes deployments.
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
• Fluency in English, client-first mentality, intense work ethic, collaborative spirit, and a problem-solving approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical technology.
