TL;DR
NetSuite Developer (SuiteScript/ERP): Architecting and extending NetSuite ERP through scalable SuiteScript solutions, workflows, customizations, and SaaS integrations with an accent on automation, data accuracy, and maintainable system design. Focus on solving complex workflow and performance challenges, supporting release cycles, and developing AI-enabled capabilities under security and data governance standards.

What you will do
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain NetSuite customizations, including SuiteScripts, workflows, Suitelets, forms, fields, records, and UI components.
- Build automation to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy across the organization.
- Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and SaaS platforms using RESTlets, SuiteTalk, APIs, and middleware tools.
- Define development standards, coding practices, and architectural strategy with IT leadership.
- Troubleshoot root causes, resolve performance issues, and optimize existing customizations for scalability.
- Support sandbox refreshes, release cycles, regression testing, project planning, sprint cycles, code reviews, documentation, and cross-functional requirements gathering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of NetSuite development experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP processes across Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Procure-to-Pay.
- Strong JavaScript skills and knowledge of general web development concepts.
- Experience with SuiteCloud tools, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or Workato.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver clean, maintainable code.
- Skills in prompting AI systems, assessing output quality, and applying AI in accordance with governance and data privacy standards.
Nice to have
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business environment.
- Familiarity with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, advanced NetSuite configuration, subscription billing, or ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Git and agile development practices.
