Senior Data Analyst (Fintech)

Location: In office in Los Angeles, California, or Charlotte, North Carolina, US

Salary: $95,000–$155,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead full-lifecycle data analysis, including requirements definition, activity mapping, solution design, discovery, exploration, and impact assessment.
• Design, develop, deploy, and manage data products from ideation through launch, including governance, intake, prioritization, and integration.
• Partner with IT, Business, Finance, and Risk teams to define requirements and deliver solutions for forecasting, risk modeling, regulatory reporting, and operational optimization.
• Profile, prepare, qualify, and validate data against requirements and success criteria; identify gaps, inconsistencies, and misclassified data.
• Create entity relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, data catalogs, and metadata for data-related objects.
• Mentor colleagues, manage complex data programs and projects, and advise senior leaders and external partners on analytics capabilities and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant data analysis or analytics experience in the banking industry.
• Experience managing multiple data product initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Ability to translate technical data concepts into business outcomes and align technical solutions with Finance, Risk, and other business needs.
• Experience with data product development, advanced analytics, or AI/ML in enterprise environments, with a strong understanding of data systems.
• Strong data product and analytics mindset with a focus on actionable, scalable, user-centric solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake and analytics tools.
