Senior Data Analyst, Investment Professional (AI)

Location: Columbus, Ohio — One hirify.global Plaza; must reside within 35 miles of the office. Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Salary: $127,000–$213,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design curated analytical data structures, shared business logic, and reusable data products for investment analytics.
• Provide controlled data access through SQL, APIs, and related interfaces for quantitative analysts, portfolio managers, reporting teams, and research workflows.
• Build and maintain semantic layers supporting front-office dashboards, quantitative tools, and AI-driven workflows.
• Monitor data quality, consistency, documentation, lineage, and reporting outputs built on enterprise data sources.
• Collaborate with Technology and platform teams on analytics architecture using Snowflake, Databricks, and Aladdin.
• Apply automation and AI-enabled techniques to ingestion, tagging, reconciliation, anomaly detection, metadata capture, and documentation with appropriate human oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Typically 8 or more years of experience building and supporting analytical data, business intelligence, or investment data environments.
• Advanced SQL and data-modeling skills, including complex queries and robust analytical data models.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, modern analytics environments such as Databricks, and practical Python skills including pandas, PySpark, or similar tools.
• Experience designing semantic layers and reusable datasets for BI and quantitative use cases, including Power BI or Tableau performance tuning.
• Working familiarity with investment data such as positions, transactions, benchmarks, and reference data, plus governance, quality monitoring, Git, pull requests, and documentation practices.
