Senior Field Service Engineer (Biomedical Diagnostics)

Location: Kowloon, Hong Kong; remote work from home with on-site customer service across Hong Kong

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and service Leica Biosystems instruments and systems.
• Provide technical support on-site, remotely, by phone, and by email.
• Support digital pathology, advanced staining, and core histology products.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and customer training in line with procedures and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Applications, Customer Care, and Technical Support teams to improve customer experience and reduce instrument downtime.
• Maintain service records, identify service opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement using hirify.global Business System tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience servicing clinical diagnostic or life sciences instrumentation.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin, with excellent customer-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned Hong Kong territory.
