Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Vancouver, Canada office

Salary: $147,000–$174,000 CAD annual base salary for exceptional talent based in British Columbia, Canada; bonus, equity, and benefits are not included.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain web and desktop applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Collaborate with data science teams to build an Agentic AI framework and use AI tools to accelerate feature development.
• Own significant features end-to-end, writing clean, modular, maintainable code with unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and UX on shared components and engineering practices.
• Deploy new releases on a weekly cadence and provide on-call support for QA and customer issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with high-performance Python, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms such as GCP, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Vue or React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience documenting architectural designs, technical decisions, and best practices.
• Experience with mentoring, Agile development, debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration.
• Willingness to join the Vancouver, Canada office.
