Business Development Officer 2

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States; primary office at 9231 Lakeside Blvd.

Salary: $94,146–$156,910 per year, plus potential overtime, incentive, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop new small business loan and deposit relationships and service existing customer accounts.
• Prospect for customers, conduct cold calls and prospect blitzes, and maintain a structured calling program.
• Assess customer needs for loans, deposits, insurance, and investments and cross-sell relevant products and services.
• Build and maintain referral networks through community involvement, networking, and joint calling with business partners.
• Resolve customer issues, submit activity and sales reports, and support business growth objectives.
• Serve as a peer leader and coach to other Business Development Officers and Branch Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• At least 7 years of experience, including several years as a calling officer with a record of production in small business loans and deposits.
• Experience in banking-related external sales and general knowledge of financial institution lending policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, customer service, and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and job-related software, including basic Word and PowerPoint and intermediate Excel.
• Ability to work at the Owings Mills, Maryland office.
