What you will do

• Coordinate the implementation of assigned undergraduate nursing programs and courses with faculty colleagues.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate theory, clinical, and practice course offerings.
• Develop classroom, online, and clinical learning activities using innovative teaching methodologies.
• Teach across the curriculum and coordinate student orientation and clinical instruction.
• Conduct and lead research that advances nursing knowledge and nursing science.
• Advise and mentor students and faculty while contributing to university committees and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science and master’s degrees in nursing, plus a PhD or equivalent doctorate in a relevant specialization from an accredited institution.
• Teaching experience, including clinical practice teaching.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and service in nursing education and practice.
• Evidence of nursing scholarship, including research, scientific manuscripts, grant writing, and technology-related work.
• Current registered nurse licensure in Texas or eligibility for Texas RN licensure.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history check.
