Account Executive (Media)

Location: Based in the Cleveland, Ohio metro area, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the VP, Media Sales with lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and revenue targets.
• Research and qualify advertisers, agencies, and brand partners, and schedule meetings for senior sales leadership.
• Maintain CRM records and track sales activity, pipeline progression, and client interactions.
• Support client meetings, presentations, account reviews, and follow-up communications.
• Develop proposals, media plans, presentations, and tailored solutions across CTV, digital advertising, sponsorships, and branded content.
• Coordinate with Account Management, Ad Operations, Marketing, Product, Technology, Data, Finance, and Legal teams on campaign delivery and sales effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Media, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, advertising, media, marketing, sports business, or client services preferred.
• Strong interest in sports, streaming, media, and advertising sales.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Internship experience in media, sports, advertising, or entertainment.
• Basic understanding of digital advertising, streaming media, and marketing principles.
