Senior Field Service Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Remote from the United States, covering New Jersey, New York, and Eastern Pennsylvania; up to 90% travel with frequent overnight stays.

Salary: $47.00–$51.00 per hour, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments.
• Support customer needs across New Jersey, New York, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
• Document service activities in accordance with ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
• Support service contract sales and assist sales and service colleagues with system configurations and upgrades.
• Provide feedback to improve service performance and revenue generation.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least three years of technical experience, or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and cover the assigned tri-state territory.
• Ability to travel up to 90%, including frequent overnight trips.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments.
• Field service engineering experience or experience with networking and IT system upgrades.
• Experience in a laboratory or hospital environment.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
