AGGP2027 – Graduate Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Bristol Area, United Kingdom. The position requires existing or otherwise valid right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Support the design of new fluid mechanical test rigs for landing gear and fuel systems.
• Contribute to the complete test rig lifecycle, from requirements capture and detailed design through manufacturing, integration, and validation.
• Use CATIA V5 and work with fibre optics, vacuum systems, pitch/roll tables, and instrumentation.
• Measure and analyse pressure, flow, vibration, and temperature in aircraft-system test environments.
• Learn how landing gear and fuel systems operate and how aircraft conditions can be simulated.
• Complete at least one rotational placement across system integration testing, including software development, avionics testing, flight test analysis, fluid mechanical testing, or facility operations.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in fluid mechanics, mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering.
• Recent graduation or first professional experience in fluid mechanical design.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to future innovation.
• Self-awareness and motivation to actively manage personal development.
• Existing UK right to work or eligibility through another valid route is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
