What you will do

• Develop and apply biochemical, biophysical, and cellular assays for chemical probes intended for cellular and in vivo pharmacological validation.
• Screen compounds and analyze and interpret experimental data.
• Investigate and elucidate the molecular modes of action of chemical probes.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Contribute to research publications and grant proposals.
• Track advances in chemical biology and screening technologies and apply relevant emerging methods.

Requirements

• PhD in chemical biology or a related discipline.
• Expertise in protein preparation, biochemical assay development, compound screening, and chemical biology techniques for assessing protein–small-molecule interactions.
• Experience developing cell-based assays, performing compound screening, and using immunoblotting.
• Consistent scientific innovation and a publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ability to collect and analyze experimental data, prepare publications, and communicate results.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, collaboration, and independent-work skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemoproteomics.
