Senior Accountant (SaaS)

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly journal entries for the month-end close.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, verify supporting documentation, and resolve reconciling items.
• Analyze datasets, prepare accruals, and explain P&L and balance sheet variances.
• Coordinate with Purchase to Pay, Customer to Cash, FP&A, and other business partners to ensure accurate and timely transaction recording.
• Support process improvements, standard operating procedures, and internal control development.
• Work with internal and external auditors, prepare quarter-end and year-end reporting schedules, and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Fluent English.
• 4–6 years of professional general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency and strong analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with sound judgment, ethical standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and CPA certification.
• Experience in a large global organization, SaaS, public accounting, NetSuite, or Cognos.
• Strong understanding of the Sarbanes–Oxley Act and internal controls.
