Senior Accounting Operations Analyst (AI)

Location: Full-time onsite position at the Guadalajara office, Mexico

What you will do

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including high-volume invoice processing, coding, PO matching, approvals, posting, and AP inbox management.
• Execute domestic and international payment runs using ACH, wires, checks, and virtual cards, coordinating payment schedules with Treasury.
• Own vendor onboarding and maintenance, verify banking details, maintain vendor master data, and resolve supplier inquiries and disputes.
• Improve procure-to-pay processes by identifying bottlenecks, automating workflows in Coupa and NetSuite, and using agentic and generative AI tools.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close through AP aging reports, accruals, prepaid amortization schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain SOX-compliant AP controls, support audits, and collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Treasury, and FP&A on supplier and payment matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of accounts payable or broader accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite AP and Coupa, including invoicing, purchase orders, supplier portals, and spend analytics.
• Experience driving AP process improvements, invoice workflow automation, exception reduction, or ERP and procure-to-pay enhancements.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP, accruals, prepaid expenses, SOX controls, and internal audit requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with the NetSuite–Coupa integration or AI-assisted AP tools.
• Experience at a publicly traded company.
• Knowledge of TransferMate or similar cross-border payment platforms.
• Experience with FloQast, Concur, or similar finance tools.
