Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor) (Maryland)

Location: Remote, United States, with office space required in Maryland; clients are located in Annapolis, Waldorf, and Cumberland. In-person care delivery is strongly preferred.

What you will do

• Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
• Support clients across a broad spectrum of mental health needs, from mild presentations to complex and severe conditions.
• Use evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to clinical crises when needed.
• Deliver care remotely and, preferably, in person through a private or group practice.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track, such as MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license with independent practice authority and no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience and commitment to evidence-based treatments and clinical best practices, including measurement-based care and skills practice.
• Experience supporting children, adults, couples, and/or families.
• Office space with the ability to see clients in the Maryland area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
