What you will do

  • Lead the development and performance of Local Study Operations Managers responsible for the country’s clinical study portfolio.
  • Oversee study execution from feasibility through close-out, including scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor portfolio risks and quality trends, escalate issues, and drive resolution of local study challenges.
  • Manage LSOM and clinical research vendor performance, including CROs, central laboratories, and imaging vendors.
  • Allocate resources and workloads across FSP and FTE personnel to support effective trial delivery.
  • Partner with country, study strategy, and cross-functional teams to align trial deliverables, improve operations, and share best practices.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical execution experience; or master’s degree and 6 years; bachelor’s degree and 8 years; associate’s degree and 10 years; or high school diploma/GED and 12 years.
  • At least 2 years of direct people management or leadership experience involving teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
  • Preferred: 7 years of experience in life sciences or a medically related field, including 4 years of biopharmaceutical clinical research experience.
  • Experience managing multiple teams or direct reports across clinical functions or trials.
  • Experience overseeing clinical research vendors and understanding local regulatory requirements for global clinical trials.
