What you will do

• Contribute to the design of complete fuel and inerting systems across hirify.global commercial aircraft.
• Support work across the full aircraft development lifecycle, from research and technology projects to flight test campaigns.
• Complete multiple placements, including at least one rotational placement, across the Fuel Systems Domain and related business areas.
• Work with experienced engineering teams to develop aircraft design and development expertise.
• Help evaluate current and future fuel-system technologies, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel and other novel fuels.
• Develop engineering and team leadership capabilities through the two-year hirify.global Global Graduate programme.

Requirements

• Degree-level education in aerospace, aeronautical, chemical, computer, electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronic, software, or systems engineering, chemistry, computer science, computer modelling, or a related field.
• Maximum of three years of relevant work experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Interest in aviation engineering, sustainable aviation, and the impact of new fuels and technologies on fuel and inerting system design.
• Collaborative, curious, self-aware, and integrity-driven approach to engineering and professional development.
• Existing right to work in the United Kingdom is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of fluid mechanics, programming with Python, MATLAB, or C++, thermodynamics, modelling and simulation, systems design and integration, power electronics, control systems, or digital circuits and systems.
