Senior Compliance Manager (Legal, Privacy & AI Governance)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid working model with flexible remote-office arrangements. Remote work from almost anywhere is available for up to 2 months per year.

hirify.global operates a technology platform for cross-border parcel delivery, helping e-commerce companies scale internationally through local carrier networks.

What you will do

• Advise the business, customers, and prospects on GDPR and data protection topics, maintain documentation, track regulatory developments, and run internal training.
• Maintain compliance policies and documentation, monitor regulatory changes, and translate requirements into business processes.
• Review and negotiate NDAs and legal terms in customer and supplier contracts, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
• Maintain AI compliance documentation, define and deliver training, own the AI governance implementation roadmap, and answer related customer questions.
• Design and implement centralized procurement compliance and controlling processes from scratch.
• Support due diligence and projects across finance, legal, and the wider business while mentoring a working student.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in compliance, privacy, or contract negotiation; a law degree is an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in a generalist legal, compliance, or privacy role, ideally in-house at a scale-up.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and German compliance frameworks.
• Fluent German and English required.
• Ability to combine strategic work, such as an AI governance roadmap, with operational legal and compliance support.
• Mentoring mindset for guiding a working student on day-to-day GRC tasks.
