Data Protection Manager (m/w/d) – EMEA

What you will do

• Implement and continuously develop the EMEA Data Protection Management System.
• Perform and manage DPIAs, DPAs, TRAs, and Records of Processing Activities in OneTrust.
• Negotiate and manage Data Processing Agreements and Joint Controller agreements.
• Coordinate Data Subject Rights Requests with HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Support the assessment and management of data breaches, incidents, training, and awareness initiatives.
• Advise HR, IT, Sales, Compliance, and other business functions on data protection matters, including AI-related initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in data protection, preferably in an international or corporate environment.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and practical experience with DPIAs, DPAs, TRAs, RoPAs, DSRs, and data breach handling.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
• Strong communication skills in German and English are required.

• Experience with data protection management tools such as OneTrust.
