Manager, Fleet Operations

Location: On-site at the headquarters in Des Peres, Missouri, USA. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, train, and manage the performance of the Fleet Operations team.
• Drive process improvements, operational excellence, and best-practice implementation.
• Monitor revenue, profit margins, budgets, accounts receivable, and operational KPIs.
• Optimize fleet utilization, capacity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Oversee van operator recruitment, retention, qualifications, and operational support.
• Coordinate with agency partners, planners, customers, providers, and internal teams to execute transportation services and resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Three to five years of experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or a related industry.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating operations, or managing cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience managing transportation, fleet, or logistics operations.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, P&L management, or performance metrics.
• Familiarity with fleet utilization, capacity planning, and operational optimization.
• Experience working with agent networks, service providers, or transportation stakeholders.
• Knowledge of household goods, moving, transportation, or logistics industries.
