Project Manager, Quality & Transformation (Unmanned Aviation)

Location: Bingen, Washington, United States; 90% on-site. Travel: 10% domestic and international.

Salary: $102,000–$163,000 per year, depending on profile and geographic differential.

Develops small tactical unmanned aerial systems with vertical take-off and landing capabilities for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance missions.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, standardize, and improve quality processes across the business.
• Define and implement a simplified, customer-centric Business Management System and Quality Management System.
• Lead transformation projects from scoping and planning through delivery within timeline and budget constraints.
• Map project interdependencies, identify operational risks, and implement contingency plans.
• Own AS9100 certification readiness, gap analysis, compliance tracking, and internal audit oversight.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives and provide quality and compliance insights to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, quality management, or an equivalent discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, auditing, or business improvement.
• Working knowledge of Business Management Systems or Quality Management Systems.
• Must be a US Person under the ITAR definition, such as a US citizen, green card holder, or person covered by an existing ITAR license.
• Current US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available unless specifically stated.
• Ability to work primarily on-site in Bingen and travel independently when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management systems.
• Experience in the unmanned aviation industry.
• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Project Management Professional qualification.
• Proficiency in French, German, or Spanish.
