Human Resources Manager - Manufacturing

What you will do

• Plan and administer HR policies, procedures, and reporting for the manufacturing facility.
• Recruit, interview, select, and orient new employees.
• Manage employee relations issues, investigations, listening sessions, and conflict resolution in partnership with management and senior HR.
• Administer performance reviews, HRIS updates, new-hire paperwork, status changes, and payroll submissions.
• Support safety initiatives through facility walk-throughs, safety committee participation, accident investigations, and insurance reporting.
• Maintain FLSA compliance, support union avoidance activities, and provide training when requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in human resources or a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least 6 years of experience in a comparable position.
• At least 4 years of experience managing people or projects.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Required foreign language: none.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in human resources or a similar manufacturing environment.
• 10+ years of experience in a comparable position and 6 years of experience managing people or projects.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Native or bilingual foreign-language proficiency.
