What you will do
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate inventory costing in partnership with the Regional Finance Director Americas.
- Maintain costing standards, including cost rolls, burden rates, overhead allocation, and product costing transparency.
- Analyze inventory, labor, material purchases, and operational variances, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with the COO, Operations, and Supply Chain teams on inventory reporting, cost savings, plant productivity, and excess and obsolete inventory reduction.
- Develop management reporting and real-time financial and operational metrics for business performance monitoring.
- Review CAPEX projects, prepare financial valuations, and ensure inventory reporting complies with GAAP and SOX through regular reconciliations and adjustments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Significant manufacturing cost accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX principles and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; Epicor familiarity is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, management, leadership, and continuous improvement skills.
Nice to have
- CPA or CMA certification.
- MBA.
- Epicor ERP experience.
