Insurance Premium Technician

Location: Remote flexible working with the opportunity for hybrid working from Chatham or London; must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

Velonetic is a joint venture involving hirify.global, the International Underwriting Association, and Lloyd’s of London that processes insurance and reinsurance premium and claims transactions through digital platforms and services.

What you will do

• Conduct technical checks on insurance documentation and identify discrepancies or errors.
• Liaise with customers and brokers to resolve processing queries and issues.
• Manage an individual workload and meet agreed quality, accuracy, and turnaround standards.
• Enter details into databases to initiate settlements and process updates.
• Complete accurate reporting and support innovation and process improvement projects.
• Review and validate documentation for quality and compliance.

Requirements

• Strong numeracy, verbal, and literacy skills.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
