What you will do
- Define and execute growth and go-to-market strategy across government, defence, and enterprise.
- Build a balanced portfolio of near-term opportunities and long-term strategic growth initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Development organisation.
- Own the company-wide sales pipeline, including qualification, CRM discipline, forecasting, and opportunity progression.
- Personally originate, shape, negotiate, and help close strategic customer and partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, Finance, and Marketing to pursue credible and commercially attractive opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven record of delivering significant revenue growth in technology, software, defence, government, or another complex environment.
- Significant experience leading and developing Business Development or sales teams.
- Hands-on leadership style with experience managing performance and closing opportunities.
- Strong commercial judgement in complex, high-value sales with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.
- Experience with pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and disciplined execution.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with credibility among C-suite and senior government stakeholders.
