What you will do

• Greet clients, assess job seeker needs, explain career center services, and refer clients to appropriate staff.
• Provide social service referrals and assist clients in the resource room.
• Encourage and empower job seekers to use self-help resources and commonly used job search websites.
• Collect documentation and verify information required for employment and education services.
• Conduct exit interviews, support customer satisfaction, and generate statistical reports.
• Lead morning staff meetings and conduct outreach to increase traffic in the center.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Two years of experience providing career or related services.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with clients in person and by phone.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in social services.
• Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
