Lead QA Engineer (Cypress)

Location: 100% remote, United States citizenship required

What you will do

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for functional, performance, security, and regression testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using Cypress.
• Test distributed applications and microservices deployed in AWS environments for scalability and reliability.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Azure DevOps or similar tools such as JIRA.
• Lead QA initiatives, mentor junior QA team members, and promote quality engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Hands-on proficiency with Cypress for end-to-end web testing.
• Experience testing applications deployed in AWS environments.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps for test management, pipeline integration, and agile project tracking.
• Expertise in functional, regression, performance, and security testing methodologies.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess an interim SECRET clearance at minimum to begin work; ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required. A related MA/MS with 10+ years of experience or BA/BS with 15+ years of experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium or Appium.
• Certifications such as CSM, ISTQB CTFL, SEMC, CMST, CSTE, CQE, or CPE.
