Controller (AI Finance)

hirify.global is a fast-growing startup evolving its finance function through an AI-native ERP migration, billing stack rebuild, and automation of finance projects with AI agents.

What you will do

• Own month-end close, financial reporting, variance analysis, and statement preparation.
• Lead the ERP migration, including system design and configuration.
• Expand AI orchestration across finance and coordinate agents performing repeatable and transactional accounting work.
• Oversee day-to-day billing operations and serve as the billing systems lead.
• Manage multi-country payroll and benefits, commissions, equity administration, and external providers for corporate and sales tax compliance.
• Maintain audit-ready controls and memos while supporting financial planning, rolling forecasts, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• CPA qualification with deep US GAAP accounting experience, ideally in an audited environment.
• Progressive experience at high-growth technology startups.
• Ability to shift context quickly and rebalance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Consistent delivery and strong ownership of complex finance operations.
• Proven experience deploying and configuring AI agents to automate complex tasks.

Nice to have

• Understanding of cloud architecture, cloud billing, and margin analysis.
• Experience with multi-entity rollups and international expansion.
• SQL, Python, or general coding experience.
