HVAC Technician (Commercial HVAC)

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations

Hourly base pay: $28.64–$44.31

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers on installation and repair requirements.
• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Use service software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete repairs.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.
• Enforce safety standards and track the use and condition of company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 or more years of HVAC experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Certification.

• Technical school education or formal HVAC training.
