What you will do

• Perform field-service maintenance and emergency repairs on telecommunications and data center HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical HVAC components, including refrigeration and electronic control circuits.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems under 10 tons.
• Respond to emergency service requests as part of a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Read wiring schematics, use monitoring tools, and document field conditions accurately and promptly.
• Travel daily to job sites and work independently while following facility safety and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 200 hours of HVAC school training.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and service commercial equipment under 10 tons.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record meeting company standards.
• Department of Transportation medical certificate, 150 electrical code hours, and relevant work hours: 4,000 for Levels I–II or 6,000 for Level III.
• Valid EPA certification.
• Basic computer skills, professional communication, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.

Nice to have

• For Level II: 20 hours of continuing education training.
• For Level III: 80 hours of continuing education training or NATE Service (CHP-5) certification.
