TL;DR
Manager, Regulatory Policy and Stakeholder Engagement (Energy): Developing and implementing regulatory initiatives, policy positions, and stakeholder engagement plans with an accent on regulatory strategy, external relationship management, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on analyzing regulatory proceedings, building coalitions, presenting evidence-based recommendations, and addressing emerging risks across complex regulatory dockets.
Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required.
Annual salary: $145,090–$161,210, plus potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain relationships with state regulatory agencies, government officials, consumer advocates, trade associations, and industry groups.
- Represent the company in regulatory meetings, working groups, hearings, technical sessions, and industry forums.
- Monitor regulatory proceedings, legislative developments, and policy initiatives, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop regulatory strategies, review responses submitted to regulators, and provide guidance on stakeholder and regulator expectations.
- Coordinate regulatory strategy and cross-functional support across major regulatory dockets.
- Participate in emergency response activations and address issues outside normal working hours when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience building relationships, leading change, and managing complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical discipline, or a related field; graduate degree in business or engineering is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, including qualitative and quantitative analysis for regulatory policy development.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, influencing, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to provide nuanced recommendations, build consensus, lead change, and operate with significant accountability.
