What you will do

  • Lead the development, negotiation, execution, and administration of moderately complex contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Develop contracting and sourcing strategies for nuclear development projects, including engineering, licensing, environmental, construction, commissioning, equipment procurement, and operations and maintenance.
  • Prepare contract modifications, amendments, change orders, scopes of work, RFPs, and commercial evaluation criteria.
  • Manage vendor communications, negotiations, supplier performance, dispute resolution, and commercial issues throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies involving liability, indemnification, insurance, warranties, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, performance guarantees, and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, licensing, environmental, legal, finance, quality, and operations stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, pre-law, or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience in contracts, procurement, project controls, commercial management, legal writing, or a related area.
  • Understanding of commercial contracting principles and negotiation techniques.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret contractual language, identify commercial risks, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to support the development and operation of future nuclear generation resources.
