Data and Informatics Products Dir (Genomics)

Location: Remote, United States. Travel of approximately 10–20% is required, including customer and partner visits and periodic time in Houston.

What you will do

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for data and informatics offerings.
• Translate laboratory and platform capabilities into requirements for external customer products, working with Genomic Technology, engineering, and data science teams.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from concept through launch, iteration, early access, and design partner programs.
• Establish pricing, packaging, and delivery models through market research and customer discovery.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to address patient consent, privacy, and regulatory constraints.
• Present roadmap status, commercial performance, and investment needs to executive leadership while building repeatable product management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of product management domain experience, including 5 years developing and commercializing data, software, or informatics products.
• At least 5 years of management experience overseeing multiple functions or one large function.
• Demonstrated success taking products from definition through external launch and revenue generation.
• Experience translating technical platform capabilities into customer-facing offerings and working with engineering and data science teams.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and privacy requirements for health or genomic data.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in clinical diagnostics, genomics, or laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with variant interpretation, genomic knowledge bases, and clinical decision support.
• Experience with design partner or early access programs in regulated settings.
