Sr Software Technical Product Manager - Arrays (Genomics)

Location: US - California - San Diego; hybrid/remote arrangement indicated. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Estimated base salary: $118,200–$177,200 per year, plus eligible bonus, commission, and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for DRAGEN Array, DesignStudio, and legacy array informatics tools.
• Define and prioritize product requirements with Engineering based on customer needs, market conditions, business objectives, cost, and timelines.
• Represent array software customers through interviews, field engagement, advisory boards, personas, use cases, and win/loss analysis.
• Develop positioning, value propositions, messaging, competitive analysis, and differentiation strategies for enterprise buyers.
• Drive go-to-market execution through launches, sales enablement, demos, pricing and packaging input, RFP support, and executive presentations.
• Coordinate shared software capabilities, infrastructure dependencies, regulatory requirements, and portfolio strategy across hirify.global software teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Master's degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, working as a Scrum Product Owner, and managing the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of genomics analysis software, pipeline creation, genotyping, microarray technology, and array-based analysis workflows.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written communication, and group presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a complex, fast-paced environment and develop usable software solutions with UX considerations.

Nice to have

• Experience with variant calling, imputation, polygenic risk scoring, or pharmacogenomics analysis.
• Prior programming experience and knowledge of data engineering or data networks.
• Experience in an ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated QSR environment.
