Robotics Deployment Project Manager (Robotics)

Location: San Francisco or Oakland, California, United States; approximately 35–40% travel required for customer deployments and local travel.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead robotics deployment projects from scope validation through installation, commissioning, and close-out.
• Partner with Applications and Solutions Engineers, customers, and third-party integrators to define requirements and validate technical scope.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, quality targets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve technical, operational, and scheduling issues.
• Coordinate communication and structured handoffs from pre-sales through deployment.
• Standardize and continuously improve deployment and project management processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in technically complex manufacturing or industrial environments.
• 3+ years of direct experience with robotics or automation systems.
• Experience with industrial robots or cobots, such as FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, ABB, or Universal Robots.
• Experience working with or alongside industrial robotics system integrators.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, competing priorities, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle for local travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with end-of-line automation, including robotic palletizing, depalletizing, or case packing.
