Robotics Engineering Project Manager (Robotics)

Salary: $120,000–$170,000 per year; bonus up to 10%

What you will do

• Lead multiple robotics engineering projects across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and budgets.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, regulatory, and operations activities.
• Facilitate design reviews, risk assessments, project meetings, and executive-level status reporting.
• Resolve conflicts, remove delivery obstacles, and align customers and internal teams on scope and schedules.
• Lead component obsolescence projects, coordinate testing requirements, and follow up on customer approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of technical project management experience.
• 3+ years managing robotics, automation, electromechanical, or complex hardware development projects.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software product development processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and engineering change processes, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with robotics products or industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of risk management tools such as FMEA.
• Experience with ERP and PLM systems including SAP, Windchill, Teamcenter, or Agile PLM.
