Account Executive (Group Benefits)

Location: New Brunswick, Canada; remote or hybrid work available from offices in Dartmouth, Moncton, or Charlottetown. Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is required.

Salary: CAD 61,230–81,000 per year, plus eligibility for a sales incentive program.

What you will do

• Grow, retain, and manage an assigned portfolio of group benefits business.
• Execute sales and business development strategies and achieve annual growth, retention, profitability, and portfolio performance targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand client value and strengthen long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with underwriting, implementation, proposal, and service teams to deliver benefits solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and educational seminars while supporting business development across the assigned territory.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales, group benefits, insurance, or a related field.
• Proven success in business development, client management, and broker relationship management.
• Strong verbal, written, consultative, and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build trusted partnerships across teams.
• Valid driver's licence required.
