Salary: $180,551.90–$244,276.10 annually

What you will do

• Develop integrated communications strategies supporting R&D, AI&D, organizational objectives, and enterprise initiatives.
• Lead internal and external communications campaigns that strengthen scientific reputation and thought leadership.
• Translate complex scientific, technical, and business concepts into clear narratives for employees and external stakeholders.
• Support organizational transformation, AI adoption, and new ways of working through targeted communications.
• Establish planning, governance, measurement frameworks, dashboards, and analytics to improve communications impact.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing communications team.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of communications or public relations experience, or a master’s degree and 7 years, or a bachelor’s degree and 9 years.
• Experience leading strategic communications in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of scientific research, drug discovery and development, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, or other technical fields.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and executive communications skills.
• Experience building partnerships, influencing without authority, and leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
• Experience using audience insights, analytics, and measurement to demonstrate communications impact.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong business acumen, executive presence, intellectual curiosity, and interest in scientific innovation and emerging technologies.
