Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with 2–3 onsite days per week
Salary: $44.14–$109.51 per hour

What you will do
- Provide individualized assessment, education, care coordination, documentation, and clinical support for oncology patients and caregivers.
- Serve as the primary nursing contact and coordinate new-patient calls, referrals, and care across the cancer continuum.
- Support transitions from active treatment to survivorship, chronic cancer management, palliative care, or end-of-life care.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, caregivers, and providers while advocating for shared decision-making and patient goals.
- Participate in program evaluation, quality improvement, research activities, and tracking of navigation metrics and outcomes.
- Monitor patient safety, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based nursing practice while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred. Associate-degree nurses must complete a BSN within four years.
- Completion of an Oncology Nurse Residency Program or one year of recent Registered Nurse experience.
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure, or New Hampshire licensure as appropriate, is required.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification is required; AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support is accepted as the minimum requirement.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, organization, problem-solving, independent decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Patient contact includes young adults through geriatric populations.
Nice to have
- Ambulatory or oncology nursing experience.
- Professional nursing certification such as OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, or RN-BC.
