German Translator

What you will do

• Translate quantitative and qualitative medical market research materials from English into German, including screeners, questionnaires, discussion guides, reports, and presentations.
• Proofread translations, provide constructive feedback, and implement client edits and requested changes.
• Perform language-related quality checks, link checking, overlays, and other in-language tasks.
• Post-edit machine and AI translations according to client requirements.
• Use programming tools and platforms, working with multiple file formats and basic to intermediate technical challenges.
• Maintain quality standards, meet deadlines and KPIs, and collaborate with project managers and the wider team.

Requirements

• MA in Translation.
• Native-level German and C1 English proficiency.
• At least two years of full-time human translation experience.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, writing, communication, and issue-resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CAT tools, especially Phrase and memoQ.
• Existing UK work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience translating medical market research, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or medical and diagnostic device content.
• Knowledge of market research programming tools and platforms.
• One to two years of additional post-editing experience.
