What you will do

• Write concise, compelling copy for paid social, email, push, SMS, print, catalogues, and other marketing channels targeting German consumers.
• Localize and quality-assure website, app, product, collection, promotional, seasonal, and product-launch content.
• Write SEM copy and create SEO-optimized content to improve click-through rates, conversions, and online visibility.
• Collaborate with video editors, graphic designers, merchandising, engineering, paid search, SEO, and customer service teams.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Smartling AI to improve efficiency and maintain brand-aligned translations at scale.
• Maintain a consistent minimal, elevated, friendly, and conversion-focused tone while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of German and English copywriting experience.
• German language proficiency required, with the ability to write for German consumers and understand local nuances.
• Deep understanding of British English and its differences from US and Canadian English.
• Experience writing for fashion, home, lifestyle, or ecommerce brands is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.

Nice to have

• English SEM copywriting experience.
• Experience with Smartling and Iterable.
