Localization Specialist

Location: Remote within the United States; expected overlap during U.S. business hours.

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annually for full-time work; part-time compensation is prorated to hours.

What you will do

• Localize SOPs, onboarding materials, templates, customer communications, and selected digital content.
• Maintain terminology, style guides, and approved language standards for logistics and operational content.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external linguists to deliver accurate and context-aware translations.
• Review localized content for quality, consistency, formatting, tone, and brand alignment.
• Build scalable localization workflows, intake standards, and review processes.
• Track project status, risks, priorities, deadlines, and recurring terminology issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in localization, translation operations, content adaptation, or internationalization.
• Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools.
• Strong command of English and authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience localizing operational, technical, or customer-facing B2B content.
• Strong quality assurance skills with attention to tone, consistency, formatting, and context.
• Strong written communication and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Fluency in one or more additional languages.
• Experience with spreadsheets, CMS workflows, or product and web content publishing.
