Senior Staff Engineer - Technical Project Manager (Security)

What you will do

• Scope security initiatives from directional strategy into executable plans with sequencing, dependencies, resourcing, and milestones.
• Lead a multi-workstream security infrastructure initiative, including transition criteria for retiring legacy systems and planned decommissioning.
• Coordinate schedules and communication across security, network engineering, end-user computing, and cloud operations.
• Manage communications with external technical partners and vendors, holding delivery accountable to scope, timelines, and SLAs.
• Track initiative health, milestones, budget and resource burn, risks, dependencies, and open decisions.
• Provide executive-level status updates and translate technical progress into clear value-based narratives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical project management experience, including senior or lead ownership of complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience scoping initiatives from directional strategy into executable plans.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or similar certification demonstrating Agile and traditional project management expertise.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to understand engineering constructs without necessarily having a hands-on engineering background.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive-ready communication skills.
• Comfort with Smartsheet, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and AWS.
