Area Manager - Floor (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at 6720 Kimball Ave, Chino, California, United States

Annual salary: $78,600–$118,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Implement the business plan for the assigned logistics area by communicating goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity through business reports and analysis while maintaining facility quality and safety standards.
• Train associates on logistics and company policies, procedures, and standards, and monitor compliance.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders, including participating in hiring and promotion activities.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by consulting with relevant stakeholders and determining corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement, support new technologies and skills, and make data-informed operational decisions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field plus one year of supervisory experience, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Alternatively, one year of Walmart Logistics Management experience, two years of Walmart Logistics experience, or two years of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of all required job training and assessments.
• Ability to supervise associates, coordinate workloads, analyze business reports, and maintain logistics quality and safety standards.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience with Walmart Logistics Systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
